We have developed our Tenant Recovery service to ensure that our clients maximise recoveries from their tenanted or sub-tenanted estate.
The potential recharges include rent, service charge, insurance, utilities, repairs & maintenance. Many of our clients are recharging some of these costs but rarely all of them or to the fullest extent. To ensure a full and fair recovery, we audit and record the sums that are recoverable under the lease terms and agree how the charges are to be levied and for what period.
We see this as an increasing opportunity as occupiers look to rationalise their estates, leaving them with lease liabilities extending beyond their operational use of the space. If correctly managed, the lease liabilities can be recharged, maximising the recovery.
