SENIOR SERVICE CHARGE CONSULTANT

Building & SERVICE CHARGE CONSULTANT

BEDFORD OFFICE/HYBRID OR REMOTE

Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 a year

We are seeking an experienced Building & Service Charge Consultant to join our team, this opportunity can be based from our Bedford Office/Hybrid or Remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and scrutinise proposed works in commercial buildings, including central plant systems and building fabric.
  • Challenge landlords’ proposals for works to be included in service charges related to commercial buildings.
  • Identify cost-effective solutions to building problems.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to ensure they receive excellent customer service and technical support.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on technical building-related matters.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Preferably RICS qualified (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years PQE.
  • Excellent knowledge of central plant systems and building fabric.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical advice to clients.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse data to support delivery of clients’ objectives’
  • Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads.
  • Be prepared to travel and attend site meetings/inspections.
  • Attend client meetings when necessary.
