Meet Daisy Crosskey:  Lease Expense Advisor who brings a unique spark to everything she does.  With an eye for saving our clients’ money and a background that includes a stint on the stage at Drury Lane, let’s take a closer look at the person behind the achievements and discover what makes Daisy shine…

Can you share more about your background and how it led you to Assure?  I finished sixth form in 2019 and went straight to work in recruitment.  After six months, COVID-19 struck, this led to me being placed on furlough and then being made redundant.  I did a week’s work experience for a local estate agency and ended up working there for 2 years.  In May 2022, my friend Reanne joined Assure Consulting and told me about the company and the type of work they do.  Seeking a busier, more challenging environment, Assure seemed to be the place to be. Thankfully, I got the opportunity to join the team and I’ve not looked back since.

 What gets you most excited about coming to work?  My colleagues make me most excited about coming to work, it’s a very happy working environment.

 And when you aren’t working, what do you like to do in your spare time?  In my spare time, I love to travel.  I’m always looking at the cheapest flights on Sky Scanner, my next trip is to Nice in a few weeks’ time.

Your top 3 favourite Podcasts/Books?  I’m more of a YouTube video girl, but the podcast I do listen to is called ‘The Girls Bathroom’ by two of my favourite YouTubers.  In terms of books, I haven’t got a specific book, but non-fiction is my preferred type.

Tell us something about you that most people don’t know?   At 14, I had the privilege of performing at London’s Royal Drury Lane Theatre with my theatre group, where we danced, sang, and shared the stage with other UK theatre clubs, it was an amazing experience.

And one final question, list three items on your bucket list?

• See the northern lights!
• Go to Japan and stay in a capsule hotel for a night
• Live in another country / speak another language fluently
